"SELFISH ALLIGATOR"
It was a very dense forest.There were small as well as big trees in it.The trees were full of different birds and animals,there were also many vines on the trees.It was as,if a vine were embracing trees.
It used to be daily game for the Squirrel to grab the vines and go up-down side by side.There was also a large pond surrounded by trees.The Pond added to the beauty of the Forest.But there were some selfish animals living that Pond.
One of them was a Selfish giant Alligator.He was very cruel and hard-hearted.He lived in that Pond.Also small and colourful fishes lived in that pond.All birds and animals were afraid to come to the pond to drink water,because of An Alligator.
If birds and animals saw an Alligator in the pond,while they were drinking water,the animals would run away and also birds would fly and sit on the trees around the pond.A monkey and
Woodcutter used to live on one of the big tree.
They were good friends.They always saw a Selfish Alligator hunting innocent animals,birds and fishes in the pond.They say to each other,"It would have been nice,if this selfish Alligator wasn't in the pond".
Once An Alligator was lying sluggish under a tree on the edge of the pond.The Woodpecker and Monkey were watching from the top of the tree all day.Finally,Woodpecker asked with great courage,"Mr.Alligator,Are you alright?".
An Alligator looked up and said,"No.....no friend,I am not Alright!".Monkey and woodpecker looked to each other,"What happened Mr.Alligator",asked Woodpecker."Yesterday,I was very hungry,so I ate two fish at once and small piece of bone got stuck in my teeth.So I have a toothache and can't eat anything ",said an Alligator.
Woodpecker said ,"Dear Monkey,we should help him.He is in pain".Monkey was surprised to hear this."No..Never I won't help and neither will you",said Monkey angrily.Selfish Alligator heard both of them talking and said to Woodpecker,"Dear woodpecker,please help me,I will reward you".
And he began to request ," woodpecker your Beak is long and pointed,so you can definitely remove it from my teeth.".Finally woodpecker was ready to help him.An Alligator opened his mouth and woodpecker went into his mouth,in a few second he pulled out a piece of bone.
Woodpecker quickly flew to the tree and sat down.When he asked to An aligator about the reward,Selfish Alligator said,"This is your Reward for coming out of my mouth alive,Would there be a bigger reward than this?".Woodpecker and Monkey kept thinking that someone could be so Selfish.
